Senior UX/UI Designer | Amsterdam based (hybrid) | Health Care | Agile teams | SAAS Web Application | Permanent contract | Dutch speaker

Our software is used by healthcare professionals to access complete patient information at any time, so they can optimise their work processes and execute their profession better. We provide services to more than 80 companies and have >35k daily active users. We keep on innovating and increasing our impact, this is why we launched a new system in 2022 and are currently redesigning our core solution. Our ambitions are big and in order to reach them we need your talent and expertise!


Your Role

You will be working closely with multiple agile teams, collaborating with the different product owners to solve UX challenges and with our front-end engineers defining and scaling UI elements across all our solutions. You will be responsible for leading a human centric design process, balancing the user and the business needs with the aim to improve the overall user experience and evolve our solutions.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Gathering requirements, defining your scope and managing your own tasks

  • Becoming a subject-matter expert, understand our audience and gain empathy towards their challenges

  • Collaborating with our support and account managers to gather learnings and insights

  • Creating wireframes and prototypes

  • Presenting your ideas, designs and research learnings to the different teams and stakeholders

  • Continuously iterating and improving upon existing designs

  • Advocating for best practice design process

  • Collaborating with developers to ensure designs are properly implemented

  • Evolve our design system and define a common shared language across teams

  • Must have: Have fun while doing all of the above ;)

  • Nice to have: Conducting user research and testing

Requirements

Candidate Profile:

  • 5+ years of relevant product design experience

  • Strong portfolio showcasing your UX/UI design skills

  • Comfortable working in an agile environment

  • Experience with user research and testing

  • Full knowledge working in Sketch and Figma

  • Strong understanding of responsive web design principles

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Fluent in Dutch and English


Bonus points for:

  • Experience working on healthcare solutions

  • Experience in facilitating workshops

  • Created or maintained a full scale design system
