Are you a Senior Front-end Developer with full stack ambitions? Gerimedica might be your perfect match. We create SAAS software for the Dutch healthcare market. Our software is used by healthcare professionals to access complete patient information at any time, so they can optimize their work processes and executing their profession better. We provide our services for more than 80 companies and have >30k users a day. In order to increase our impact even more we have launched a new system in 2022. Our ambitions are big and in order to reach them we are in need of talent! To do so we are in need of a Senior Front End Developer, who loves to work on a project to make the Dutch healthcare system better!

What does the job entail?

Are you ready to join an ambitious team with a startup mentality and an international orientation? Our multicultural team is composed of six (6) highly skilled developers working on a clean (2 years old) code base in Java with an Angular front-end. All developers work full stack, which means that while you will have more experience in front-end development, you will also have the opportunity to explore back-end functionalities as well in Java 17 and Spring boot. In order to provide a clean and simple front-end and its supporting functionality, you’ll be collaborating with our UX/UI designers so that the best possible solutions are implemented. You will work in an agile scrum-based environment, with a Product Owner, UI/UX designer, a Scrum Master and a team of excellent developers.

What do you bring to the table?

• Strong technical and design skills (preferably Angular version 10 and above) with a focus on high maintainable code

• Willingness to help lead and mentor your team from a front end design and development perspective

• Good collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, i.e. PO, Scrum Master, Designers

• Motivation about driving engineering culture and being part of a high energy, supportive, engaged and passionate team

• Being curious, audacious, not afraid to ask questions, open to feedback and own improvements to culture and processes

• Having a self starter mentality and a willingness to move out of your comfort zone and try new technologies or different approaches

• You are a friendly and open person who knows when to speak up and you are able to support and coach the team so that the ideas are executed correctly

• Kudos to you, if you know Java (plus point 😉)

Our teams

Gerimedica is evolving fast, we currently have 5 development teams. Our teams work on 2 main projects: Ysis EPD and Ysis ECD.

Three (3) of our teams are working on Ysis EPD. They work e.g. on authentication, authorisations and financial applications, but also on integration of Ysis with different partners and on the interoperability with some country-wide standards for key organizations.

The last two (2) teams are working on a new ECD, a product just released in production that is focusing on non-medical care for geriatric and mentally disabled patients.
